Commuters face disruption to their morning routes after TfL announced a heavily used entrance to Finsbury Park station is to close. Station bosses are advising people to allow extra time for journeys and to change trains at Kings Cross to avoid congestion. The closure will make way for two new lift shafts in the station used by over 28 million passengers a year and will also involve the temporary closure of the station's main staircase. The station will be busier than normal so follow signs and staff directions, and allow extra time for your journey. You can find our Community Guidelines in full here. Please wait Cannabis Debate.

TfL has released another batch of documents which show every underground station in glorious 3D format. They are technically axonometric diagrams, which is 3D-like, but not to scale, which becomes obvious when you see some of the vertiginous descents offered on some stairs and escalators. In total, some stations are represented in this motherlode of tube and map geekery. Note, the diagrams are indicative of layouts, and are not updated with changes temporary or permanent. Stations A-B. Stations H-M. Stations N-S.
